I have been lucky enough to capture many milestones for this family, but this one had to be my favourite. They invited me into their home to capture their first few moments as a family of three. We moved slow, as newborn sessions always run on “baby time”, and were able to capture so many beautiful little snippets of their day to day.

This engagement session was so wonderful to capture. Jodi snagged one of my last August openings, which allowed us to explore golden fields just before they were harvested. Sessions at this time of the year are arguably my favourite!

This year I grew my own sunflower field and was lucky enough to capture photos within it throughout the summer! This will definitely be a regular event now, and I look forward to capturing many more folks enjoying the field for years to come.

My favourite type of sessions usually take place at family farms. Wandering wheat fields, seeing where all the hard work takes place, hearing the stories that surround old pieces of equipment; that’s my idea of a great session. Thanks so much to Thea and Jordan for having me out.

Weddings that happen in our little slice of heaven, Melville, Sask, will always have a special place in my heart. I was honoured to capture this rustic and charming day alongside Ashley, Austin, and all of their closest people. I have had the pleasure of capturing these two for many years, and that made being part of their wedding day all the more special.

Laurissa and Brandon’s wedding marked my first time ever visiting Outlook, Sask. It came with beautiful views, stunning venues, and a whole lot of kind folks. It was an honour to travel out and capture these memories for Laurissa and Brandon.

A classic small-town country wedding in Lemberg, Saskatchewan. It was an honour to be invited to share these moments with Jina, Dennis, and all their closest friends and family. Their love story is one of the most heartfelt and sincere ones I have ever been part of.

A stunning wedding nestled in the heart of the Saskatchewan prairies. Ashley and Chad’s family and friends showered them with love, and it shined through in every last detail of their day. So grateful to have been able to capture these moments with them.

Photographing this pair is always such an honour. They are so kind, and the love they have for one another truly radiates through their images. We explored Emmitt’s family farm near Preeceville, Saskatchewan during this session.

There’s not enough words to describe how truly beautiful, heartfelt, and sincere this day was. I was honoured to be invited to be part of it. We trekked up to the beautiful East Blue Lake in Manitoba for Holly and Sean’s day. They surrounded themselves with their closest family and friends, and shared moments in all the spots that held meaning for them.

Katie and Paul got married by the same father that married Katie’s parents, and baptized Katie and Paul’s child. This ceremony was intimate and special, because the father was set to retire soon, and Katie and Paul did not want to miss out on having him marry them. There were a total of 12 of us at the ceremony, and Katie and Paul hosted their family and friends at their farm to celebrate afterwards.

One of my favourite things about spring is all the fresh blooms that encase our parks and prairies. This sweet family and I explored one of my favourite parks in Yorkton and took advantage of the pink blossoms.

This session was storytelling at the absolute finest. If I’m being honest, we spent most of the session letting Addisyn lead the way, which is often how the best of memories are captured. I hope you enjoy scrolling through this story as much as I enjoyed capturing it.

Ashley, Chad, and I spent a Saturday afternoon wandering through the beautiful Echo Valley Provincial Park, nestled in the Qu’Appelle Valley. We lucked out with one of the warmest days of this Saskatchewan winter, which allowed us to truly take our time and intentionally explore new spots throughout the park, while capturing love and sharing laughs.

I was invited to the Grywacheski farm to capture extended family photos for this lovely family. We were lucky to catch the beautiful hoar frost, and found a spot tucked just outside of the prairie winds to capture these memories.

I cannot believe we went from capturing maternity photos to family photos in what felt like such a short timeframe. These three are the sweetest, most photogenic, little family, and capturing them is truly a pleasure. Also, can we just talk about how these outfits match the fall background so well! And that little toque?! To die for.

Spending time capturing my clients in the Qu’Appelle Valley is one of my most favourite things to do. The vastness and beauty of the valley is immense in all seasons, but especially in the fall. Jalisa and Mitchell introduced me to some beautiful new spots, and we soaked up the last of fall in the valley capturing these moments for them.
