Dymtriw Family
What a pleasure it was hunkering down in this STUNNING A-frame cabin at Rustic Acres Resort with this family. It is always so fun to capture the sibling dynamic during a photo session. This three of boys had fun playing dinos, making up stories, and climbing up and down the stairs to the loft.
Vibert Family
I was invited to spend an afternoon with the Vibert family and their newest addition. We soaked in alllll the natural light in their home, captured photos featuring sentimental family heirlooms, laughed until our stomachs hurt, and came out of it all with some beautiful, timeless images. So grateful to have been trusted with these precious memories.
Melissa + Mike
What a way to cap off my wedding career (for now, haha). Spent the day basking in the laughter and silliness shared by these two’s friends and family. We explored downtown Kelowna, hit the beach, and braved the crisp winter air for some truly once in a lifetime photos. I couldn’t have been happier to capture these.
Sorenson - newborn
Another year, another beautiful chapter with this family. I have captured so many memories with them throughout their journey- so I was so excited to hear when they were expecting. They welcomed me into their home to capture these first few moments as a family of four. We basked in the sun, took in some last moments with their Christmas tree (haha), and admired how great of a big brother their eldest was set to be.
Newton Family
Always a pleasure capturing memories for close friends. I was invited over just before Christmas to capture memories with these four. Their eldest and I started off the session by playing trucks while mom and dad got baby ready. We enjoyed an afternoon of natural light, baby cuddles, and alll the plants (momma has a whole plant room and it was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!).
Humes Family
You know those people that you meet for the first time and feel like you’ve known forever? That’s how I felt with the Humes. I was invited into their cozy farmhouse on a frosty November evening to capture moments of them enjoying their sweet new baby, and it was an honour.
Johnson Family
I was so excited when Kylie + Zach asked me to spend a chill Sunday morning with them and their kiddos. We spent the morning playing with balloons, playing board games, making pancakes and coffee, and even romped around in the fresh snow.
Joanie + Chris - newborn
Year after year I have had the pleasure of capturing this dynamic duo. From freezing our bums off in the harsh Saskatchewan wind, to galloping through fields during an August sunset, we thought we had seen it all. Turns out we were wrong- meet little baby L. It was an honour to be invited into their home to capture these precious moments as they embarked on the journey from two, to three.
Lauryn, Tyson, + Kamryn
This was the most picturesque fall family photo session. The golden sun peaking through the last of the summer grass, stacks of round bales, rosy cheeks and cheeky laughs- what a pleasure. So happy with how well these memories documented.
Bucsis Family
My third year capturing memories alongside this family surely did not disappoint. Jayla came to me with a specific vibe in mind, and I was happy to help her choose outfits and other details to make it happen. We took our time, enjoyed the last of the fall weather, and came out with some beautiful, timeless shots.
Sydney + Travis
Personally, I believe all couples should invest in photo sessions every few years. It gives them time to slow down, enjoy one another, and reflect on the years they’ve spent together. That’s exactly what I had the pleasure of doing alongside Sydney + Travis. These two share such a unique bond. A silent, trusting comfort just emanates off these two, which made these moments unfold with such ease.
Alyssa + Ryan
Had the pleasure of travelling to a brand new spot in the valley to capture these unique maternity photos for Alyssa and Ryan. Fall in the valley always leaves me speechless. I was happy to bring Alyssa’s vision to life by incorporating all the elements of nature in their shoot.
Rebecca + Trevor
I am honoured to be asked time and time again to capture special moments for this family. Not going to lie, this session started out a little shaky. Their little man was not feeling photos, so it took us about a half hour before we could get started; but hey, that’s ok! That is toddlers, and that is 10000% ok and welcome at your photoshoot with me. Patience is at the top of my list. We ended up with some of my favourite announcement images to date- capturing the beauty of fall, and some last moments as a family of three.
Justine & Nathan
When Justine said we would be photographing horses, cows, AND pigs, I did not realize how tame they would all be. This was seriously the session of my dreams, and on top of it all, we were blessed with one of the best fall sunsets Saskatchewan had seen.
Bogdan Family
Last family photos at the farm- that’s pretty memorable. We took our time in exploring, soaking moments in, and watching the kiddos enjoy the late fall sunset. It was the perfect evening.
Clarke Family
I am always overjoyed to be invited back to the Clarke farm year after year. We captured memories of them enjoying their farm, jumping on the trampoline, running on the grain bags, and chilling in the back of grandpa’s old pickup truck. Memories to last a lifetime.
The Campbells’
The most stunning fall wedding on the cusp of the Qu’Appelle Valley at Rustic Acres Resort- Melville’s newest wedding venue. This whole day felt like being wrapped in your favourite blanket, watching old school cartoons, with all your favourite people and snacks around; that’s the best way to describe it. Comfortable, relaxed, full of love and care- just all around perfection, down to every last detail. So grateful to have been part of it.
Sorenson Family
When I found out this family was expecting their second kiddo I was so darn excited. They are the kindest, most genuine people I’ve ever met- and I know for sure that the humans they are raising will be lights in this world.
Stillborn Family
Made my yearly trip out to the Stillborn family ranch to capture some sweet memories of their family. I am always amazed by how much kiddos grow in between sessions! We visited cow pastures and drove down backroads to find the perfect spots for their photos.
Lang Family - newborn
It was so fun to follow up with this family after the arrival of their baby girl. We did a combination of indoor and outdoor photos at their home. I was led around by their little boy being called “auntie Maddy” the whole time, which totally made my day. I am so happy with the effortless, comfortable vibe these images encompass.
